Proposals have been tabled to the European Council to continue the Peace programme worth 150 million for the period 2014 to 2020.
Donegal and other border counties have benefited significantly from the programme since the mid 90’s, a decision on its extension will be taken later this week.
Pat the Cope Gallagher MEP has welcomed the proposals and is hopefull they will be ratified:
