Viable device found in Omagh after off duty policeman fires shots

A viable bomb has been found close to the home of a serving police officer in County Tyrone.
The device was found in the Coolnagard area yesterday afternoon.
Follow-up searches were taking place following an incident in which an off-duty police officer fired a number of shots. No-one was injured in the incident, which is now the subject of a full Police Ombudsman investigation. .
