Concern for future of Donegal Garda Drugs Unit

An Anti-drugs campaigner has said he has serious concerns over the future of the Drugs Unit in Donegal
PJ Blake has called on the Justice Minister to reassure the public that the Donegal Drugs Unit will not suffer the same fate as the Cavan-Monaghan Unit which has been axed.
He says recent drugs seizures in the county prove that garda resources to tackle such crime must be maintained – only on Thursday night, cannabis estimated to be worth in the region of €240,000 was seized close to Ballintra.
PJ Blake says there is great concerns over the issue……….
