PJ Blake has called on the Justice Minister to reassure the public that the Donegal Drugs Unit will not suffer the same fate as the Cavan-Monaghan Unit which has been axed.

He says recent drugs seizures in the county prove that garda resources to tackle such crime must be maintained - only on Thursday night, cannabis estimated to be worth in the region of €240,000 was seized close to Ballintra.

PJ Blake says there is great concerns over the issue..........
