€18.9m allocated for local and regional road improvements in Donegal

Almost €19 million has been allocated to local and regional road improvements in Donegal by the National Roads Authority for 2013.
The bulk of the money will go towards necessary improvements and restoration work agreed by the council.
The allocation is slightly down on last year, Donegal County Council received 21 and a half million in 2012.
It was announced earlier this week that funding for the National Road network in the county was being slashed by €10 million.
