Funding for roads in Co Donegal slashed this year by almost €10m

Funding for roads in Co Donegal is being slashed this year by almost €10m.
The County’s total national roads allocation for 2013 will be €11.59m, significantly down on last years allocation.
In 2012, an initial €21.5 was allocated to local and regional road improvements in Donegal by the National Roads Authority.
The bulk of the money went towards necessary improvements and restoration work agreed by the council.
