Five Garda Stations are due to close in Donegal at the end of the month. These are part of 95 station closures across the country at that time. A further five stations will be closed in the following weeks.
The stations affected include Malin, Brockagh, Glencolmcille, Annagry and Churchill.
It's been argued that the move will not make any significant savings for the Department of Justice but instead will have a negative impact on communities.
