Sinn Fein bring “Love Rural Ireland” campaign to Donegal

Sinn Fein TD Martin Ferris is in Donegal today for a series of meetings with community and youth groups. He and Galway Senator Trevor O’Clochartaigh are in the county as part of Sinn Féin’s Love Rural Ireland Campaign, which was launched by the party in March of last year.
They will attend meetings in Killybegs and Glenties this afternoon, before a public meeting tonight at The Yard in Falcarragh
Deputy Ferris says the campaign is about engaging with the sectors that have been hit hardest by government policy with a view to developing a viable Rural Development plan.
He says the experience and input of rural communities in Donegal will be vital for that plan.
