Pringle says government is failing on the domestic economy

The closure of Mary’s of Donegal this week is another indication of this government’s failure to protect the domestic economy in Donegal and throughout the country.
That’s according to Donegal South West Deputy Thomas Pringle, who says the closure of the Donegal Town store has led to 16 job losses. He says government talk of an export led recovery rings hollow for the staff and community in Donegal Town.
Deputy Pringle asks what happened to the commitment to end upward only rent reviews and implement reforms that assist businesses in the domestioc economythat this government promised.
He says that may not have saved “Mary’s”, but would have injected some much needed confidence into the local economy…….
