A 48 year old man arrested by gardai investigating the assault and robbery of 96 year year old Margaret Lilly at her home outside Buncrana has been released without charge, pending a file to the DPP.
Margaret Lilly was assaulted in the course of the robbery at her home in Aghilly, Buncrana in the early hours of Saturday morning – She has now been discharged from Letterkenny General Hospital after treatement.
The man was arrested in Burt on Tuesday evening.
