Mc Hugh says he has confidence in East Belfast community leaders

The Union Flag is flying over Belfast City Hall today to mark the Birthday of the Duchess of Cambridge – Kate Middleton.
Meanwhile, the Joint Oireachtas Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement is expressing “deep concern” over the violence – which has been ongoing for over a month in East Belfast.
More than one hundred arrests have been made, and dozens of police officers have been injured since the protests began.
Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh is chair of the Implementation Committee – He says communities in North and East Belfast have told him that the peace process cannot be taken for granted, but he has confidence in community leaders there……….
