Deputy McConalogue calls on Minister not to cut local garda resources

Donegal North East Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue says that the attack on a 96-year-old woman over the weekend shows that now is not the time to dismantle local garda resources.
The attack in Aghilly in the early hours of Saturday morning left the elderly woman needing hospital treatment and has caused shock and distress in the local community.
Speaking to Highland Radio, Duputy McConalogue has called on Minister Alan Shatter to stop the reduction of Garda numbers and services. In doing so, he says this will allow them to continue providing the best security for our communities…
