Man dies in single vehicle crash outside Stranorlar

A man has died following a single vehicle collision on the N15 between Stranorlar and Lifford. The tragedy happened at around 11 o’clock last night at Treanamullin outside Stranorlar.
Gardai say the man was in his mid 20s, and died after his car left the road and came to a stop in a field. A post mortem examination will take place at Letterkenny General Hospital.
Specialist garda investigators are investigating the cause of the tragedy, and road closures are in place between Stranorlar and Killygordon.
The man is the 7th person to die on Donegal’s roads in 2012.
