Pedestrian critical in Derry after being hit by a car

A 26-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Derry.
The incident took place on the Victoria Road at the junction of Prehen Park at around 2.40 this morning.
Police investigating the collision have said that a green Saab car was involved.
They have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them at Strand Road police station.
