Strabane submariner jailed for Official Secrets Act breach

A British Navy serviceman has been sentenced to eight years in prison for trying to pass nuclear submarine secrets to Russian spies.
30-year-old Edward Devenney, who is from Strabane, contacted the Russian Embassy offering information and later met two men he thought were spies in London.
