The Director of Nursing and Midwifery at Letterkenny General Hospital says at present, the hospital is not declaring an outbreak of the Winter Vomiting Bug.
It follows the imposition of visiting restrictions on Surgical 1 and Medical 3.
Speaking to Highland Radio News, Dr Anne Flood said the infection control team is meeting regularly and awaiting test results. In the meantime, she says,the situation is being kept under review.
