Buncrana Town Council is to call a meeting of interest groups in a bid to progress the setting up of a CCTV system in the town.
The move was proposed this week by Cllr Michael Grant, who says while Buncrana is a very safe place in which to live and do business, there are occasional problems, and cameras would be a deterrant.
Cllr Grant says a group from the town recently had a tour of the network which has been operational in Letterkenny for some time, and it’s time for Buncrana to press its case for a similar system…………
