Major cross border project launched in Pettigo – Tullyhommon

An 8.3 million euro regeneration project on the Donegal Fermanagh border has moved to construction phase from today. The ‘Termon Project’  will see a major revitalisation and the provision of cross-community facilities in the border villages of Pettigo and Tullyhommon.
It was formally launched this afternoon by Junior Minister Dinny Mc Ginley and Stormont Minister Nelson Mc Causland. Donegal County Council has been the lead partner in the development of the project, which includes the construction of a Multi purpose venue and playschool, a Youth Hub and a Riverside Park and footbridge along both sides of the Termon River.
Local development committees and Fermanagh District Councils are also partners in the project.
