£500 worth of damage done to Melmount Centre in Strabane

Police in Strabane are appealing for information following the report of a burglary in the Melmount Road area in the early hours of Monday 12th November.

It was reported shortly after midnight that premises in the Melmount Centre had been entered by unknown persons. A security light was smashed and considerable damage was caused to a window to gain entry. A quantity of ice was taken from a freezer and an estimated £500 damage caused.

Police would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information about this incident to contact them in Strabane on 0845 600 8000.
