SF want Alcorn to withdraw Udaras nomination

Sinn Féin members of Donegal County Council are urging Cllr David Alcorn to withdraw his nomination to the new board of Udaras na Gaeltachta until questions raised in an anonymous letter about expenses claims he made between 2006 and 2009 are answered.
Party Whip Cllr Mick Quinn says while the claims are being investigated, they are calling on Minister Dinny McGinley to defer the ratification of Donegal County Council’s nomination to the new Údaras board.
Cllr Alcorn received the nomination with Sinn Fein support, and Cllr Mick Quinn says that would not have happened were they aware of the contents of the letter which has now been widely circulated…………
