Mc Hugh hits out at SF negativity towards IDA

Fine Gael has said that Sinn Féin's persistent negativity about the work of the IDA in Donegal does not help efforts to attract investment to the county.

Deputy Joe McHugh was responding to Deputy Padraig Mac Lochlainn criticism of the IDA which has so far failed to facilitate a site visit in 2012 for companies with a view to potential job creation.

Deputy McHugh says that the IDA's own studies show most new jobs are being created by existing companies, and two of the ten best performers nationally are in Donegal.

He says he wants to bring an all party deputation to meet with the IDA's North West chief, and he wants Deputy Mac Lochlainn and others to join him..........
