Donegal TD wants Suicide Prevention Authority established

Donegal South-West Deputy Thomas Pringle has called on the government to establish a Suicide Prevention Authority to tackle the prevalence of suicide and self-harm in our society.
There were 525 recorded suicides in Ireland in 2011.
The figures from the Central Statistics Office showed that men accounted for 84 per cent of all deaths by suicide that last year.
