New Omagh claims reinforce case for public enquiry – Gallagher

The Omagh Support and Self Help Group says the latest speculation regarding secret recordings taken by Special Branch and GCHQ reinforce their calls for a full public enquiry into the atrocity.
The news website Belfast Daily is reporting today that a recording was obtained by GCHQ after the blast of one of the bombers expressing regret for what he had done, but it wasn’t passed on to detectives by Special Branch because it would not be admissable in evidence.
Speaking on today’s Shaun Doherty Show, Group Spokesperson Michael Gallagher said this reinforces their view that everything needs to be put on the table so that the full story can finally emerge…………..
