Man remanded in custody after ramming Garda car during chase

A man has appeared in court in Letterkenny today following an overnight incident in which a garda car was rammed.
23-year-old Cathal Dunleavy, from, Glenvar, Kerrykeel, appeared at Letterkenny District Court today charged with 16 different offences.
They include fifteen charges of speeding and another charge of stealing a car.
The court heard how a number of Garda cars had been involved in the incident which started at Mountain Top in Letterkenny around midnight and ended at Glenvar a short time later.
