Brother of Andrew Allen one of two men threatened in Derry

Two Derry men, one of them a brother of murder victim Andrew Allen, have been cautioned by the PSNI that their lives are under threat.

Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has called on those who issued the threat to lift it immediately, saying he has been aware of tensions involving two local men over recent weeks.

Mr Ramsey says he has tried to facilitate a resolution through his office, but despite that, some have been determined to push the issue to a point where lives are being put at risk.

He says the PSNI warning has caused great fear and anguish to the men's families, particularly the Allen family who are still traumatised following his murder outside Buncrana in February.
