Sam’s tour of Donegal ends in Glenswilly as council plans reception

Donegal's All Ireland winning footballers are to be given a civic reception by Donegal County Council.

County Mayor Cllr Frank Mc Brearty says he will formally propose at the next council meeting that the players, management team and representatives of the County Board be honoured by November at the latest. It's a formality which will be unanimously backed by all members.

Meanwhile, last night in Glenswilly, the team finally concluded what's been a three day tour of Donegal in the home of Neil Gallagher, Gary Mc Fadden and captain Michael Murphy.

Michael Murphy says it was fitting that his home club marked the end of what's been an intense week for the players............
