Garda Community Safety Week continues with a warning to home owners to ensure their oil tanks are secure as we head in to the colder months.
There has been an increase in the theft of home heating oil across the north west in recent years and as the price of oil continues to rise, gardai are warning that it can be an easy and rewarding target for thieves.
