Cut to home help hours will cause severe hardship in Donegal

The decision by the HSE to cut over 25,000 home help hours across Donegal between now and the end of the year is likely to cause severe hardship for many in the county.
That’s according to the IMPACT Trade Union are saying that the cuts will effect the sick and the elderly most.
The cuts are part of The Health Minister recent announcment that the home help service would be cut nationwide by 5.5% as part of spending cuts in the health sector.
