Gardai warn Donegal fans who are going to homecoming to be vigilant

The Gardai are urging Donegal supporters to be vigilant this week, especially if they are travelling to see Jim McGuinness and the Donegal team.

Gardai are appealing to people to take care and to ensure that their homes are secure before they go out this week.

Garda Intelligence has stated that criminal gangs may target homecoming celebrations in the aftermath of the All-Ireland Final.

Sergeant Paul Wallace, who is the Crime Prevention Officer with Letterkenny Garda Station has advised people to take extra caution to ensure that they do not lose any personal belongings:
