Eight Donegal settlements in latest Revenue list

Eight settlements totalling almost 2.35 million euro have been reached by Revenue in Donegal in the latest
quarterly list which has just been published.
The settlements were reached betweem April 1st and June 30th this year.
Property Developer and Company Director James Barr of Avondale in Burnfoot paid just over €959,000 in respect of underdeclaration of Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and VAT.
Retired fisherman John Gallagher of Carricknagore, Bruckless paid almost €876,000 in respect of
underdeclaration of Capital Gains Tax.
Retired Company Director Catherine O’Donnell of Main Street, Killybegs paid just under €230,000 in respect of underdeclaration of Income Tax.
Milltown Securities of Carrownamaddy, Burt paid a total of just over €110,000 in respect of underdeclaration of Corporation Tax and VAT.
Publican Derek Sweeney of The Coach House Bar, Donegal Town paid almost €48,000 in respect of
underdeclaration of Income Tax and VAT.
Company Director Laurence Mc Daid of The Halfway House, Burnfoot paid just over €46,000 in respect of underdeclaration of VAT.
Publican James Cushnan of 2 Greenmount, Milford paid just over €36,000 in respect of underdeclaration of Income Tax and VAT
Company Director and Farmer Mark Mc Connell of The Glebe, Stranorlar paid just over €34,000 in respect of underdeclaration of Capital Gains Tax.
