Gynae protest march is just the beginning says organiser

Between 300 and 400 people turned out on the streets of Letterkenny on Saturday for a march in protest at the closure of the gynaecology ward at Letterkenny General Hospital.
Hundreds of people carrying placards called on the Health Minister James Reilly to reverse the HSE’s decision.
The gynae unit will close today (Monday) with six specialist beds being moved from the present Gynae ward to Surgical 2, two floors above.
