Management at Letterkenny General Hospital have confirmed that that the new emergency department and medical ward will open next week.
Services will start to move into the new building on Thursday the 13th of September.
A number of project teams have been working tirelessly over the past 6 months to prepare the new unit for delivery of patient care.
As a result of their efforts, the Hospital Management and Staff Trade Union Representatives have reached an agreement regarding the implementation of staff in the new building.
