Husband of former Tanaiste Mary Coughlan passes away

Former Tanaiste Mary Coughlan is grieving following the death of her husband David Charlton.
He died at home in Frosses, Co. Donegal, last night following a battle with cancer.
He was a Garda attached to Glenties station.
The couple met when he was on duty at Leinster house and they married two years later when Coughlan, 47, was 26 years old.
