Climber rescued from Slieve League dies in Letterkenny General Hospital

A climber who had to be taken by rescue helicopter from Slieve League yesterday afternoon has died.
The man is believed to have suffered a heart attack while out with another climber yesteday afternoon.
Donegal Mountain Rescue, Killybegs Coastguard and the rescue helicopter were on the scene just before 1 o clock.
The man was winched from the area and rushed to Letterkenny General Hospital.
However he passed away later in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, a 16 year old scout had to be airlifted to hospital after she was injured while walking in Glenveagh National Park on Saturday.
The Donegal Mountain Rescue Team was called out after the girl dislocated her knee in rough ground close to Lough Sallagh area of the Derryveaghs.
She was one of a group of 7 scounts on the first day of a three day fundraising walk.
