24-year-old Termon man drowns in Dublin canal after celebrating Donegal win

A 24-year-old Donegal supporter has died after falling into a canal in Dublin.
Andrew Duffy from Termon was out celebrating Donegals All-Ireland semi-final win after watching the game at Croke Park.
It’s understood that he and a friend were making there way to were they were staying when he slipped and fell into the canal in Phibsboro.
The Termon GAA players body was recovered shortly after midnight, and he was pronounced dead at 1245am.
Gardai have described the incident as a tragic accident.
Letterkenny doctor James McDaid knew Andrew, he said his nephew was out celebrating with him….
