All public representatives in Donegal should unite to defend rural Ireland

A Donegal TD says public representatives from all parties need to unite to defend rural Ireland.
Deputy Padraig MacLochlain was speaking after it was confirmed this week that the services of a Community Welfare Officer where being withdrawn from St Johnston, Fahan, Culdaff and Bree.
He believes this coupled with post office and Garda station closures and the loss of other services is part of an anti-rural Ireland agenda by the current government.

Meanwhile, a Fianna Fail Cllr has echoed Deputy MacLochlains calls saying all public representatives need to work together.
