Mayor accepts PSNI apology for raid on home

The Mayor of Derry has welcomed a full apology from the PSNI for raiding his home but says it was a long time coming.
Five weeks ago Councillor Kevin Campbell’s home was raided by police with laptops and mobile phones taken away.
The PSNI subsequently claimed that they searched his house in response to suspected RAAD activity in the Creggan area
A public apology was issued last evening.
Councillor Campbell says it was important to hold the PSNI accountable for their actions:
