Donegal Fire Service shortlisted for national award

The Donegal Fire service is in the running for a major national award for its response to gorse fires which ravaged large parts of Donegal in May of last year.
The fire service has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Customer Service section of the Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards.
The Council has been shortlisted in two other categories. The One Donegal Cultural Diversity Month in the Festival of the Year category and the Donegal Gathering in the Supporting Tourism section.
The Awards will take place on Thursday 8th November in the Burlington Hotel Dublin.
