The Gaeltacht Minister is urging people interested in being appointed to the board of Údarás na Gaeltachta to express that interest before tomorrow evenings deadline.
Elections to the board have been scrapped - the government will now appoint seven members from the applications which have been received. The Chairperson will also be appointed by government.
Anyone interested in a role on the board must apply online at www.publicjobs.ie by 5 pm tomorrow evening.
Five members will be nominated by county councils that have a gaeltacht area within their jurisdiction.
