Donegal Deputy calls for extra third level places for students

Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Education and Skills Charlie McConalogue has called on the Government to ensure there is sufficient third level places for Leaving Cert students.
The Donegal Deputy has expressed concern that a potential significant increase in points across a number of courses, particularly such as science and technology , will increased competition for places.
Deputy McConalogue says If points increase dramatically then more places need to be put on stream – He also added that the government need to ensure that courses are tailored to match the jobs available in Ireland:
