SF Cllr says Hogan must consider disposable income stats

A Donegal Sinn Fein Councillor says Environment Minister Phil Hogan must rethink the cutting of Donegal County Council’s share of the Local Government Fund to reflect the low level of Household Charge compliance.
Cllr Marie Therese Gallagher says a comparison of the compliance figures with the CSO’s annual disposable income statistics show that the higher an area’s disposal income, the higher the compliance rate.
She says this proves a link between compliance and ability to pay……….
