Higgins fears refusal to hand over report may have consequences

North West MEP Jim Higgins fears the refusal of the Garda Commissioner to give the AG in the North access to a report into the death of Donegal woman Sinead Mc Daid may have an impact on cross border cooperation, and set a worrying precedent.
Speaking to Highland Radio News today, Jim Higgins said the Farren family is absolutely determined to see this through, and will not ease up on their campaign for the truth.
He says former Justice MInister Dermot Ahern and former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern were both supportive of the Farren family, and he’ll be calling on the current minister to act.
Mr Higgins says no reason has been offered for the refusal to hand over the report………..
