Irish National Sheep Dog trials underway in Donegal today

Several thousand spectators are in County Donegal today for the start of the Irish National Sheep Dog trials.
Organisers say the competitions are an exciting spectacle.
The 2012 trials are being held at Glebe Farm on the grounds of Castle McGrath in Pettigo from today to 11 August.
About 150 competitors are aiming to qualify for the International and Supreme competitions in Cardiff in September.
The event will also feature sideshows and family entertainment.
The trials began at about 8 o clock this morning and are set to run into the evening.
