Derry City Council has been accused of “dragging its heels” in responding to a five point plan presented to it by the Northern Ireland Independent Retail Traders Association in April.
The plan lays out ideas of how to regenerate Derry city centre and includes a relaxation of planning regulations to enable faster decisions and the launch of a major ‘shop independent’ campaign.
