Staff at Donegal VEC have expressed their shock and sorrow following the news that acting CEO Mary Ann Kane passed away earlier today.
Mary Ann Kane lost her battle against illness, leaving those who knew her shocked and saddened.
The Administration Offices of Donegal VEC in Letterkenny will be closed tomorrow as a mark of respect.
Her colleague, Ann McHugh, who is the Acting Education Officer for the Donegal VEC, said Mary Ann will be very much missed by everyone:
