Council to lobby for return of Dublin hospital bus service

Donegal County Council is to lobby for the reintroduction of the bus service for Donegal patients attending appointments at hospitals in Dublin.
The motion, signed by a cross party group of councillors, calls for a meeting with Minister James Reilly.
Cllr Gerry Crawford, one of the signatories of the motion, says rather than refer to it as a bus service, it should be referred as an extension of the ambulance service.
He said those behind this decision should hang their heads in shame and admit they’ve made a mistake:
