Derry to Coleraine railway line closed for major works

A section of the railway linking Belfast and Derry - has been closed for the next nine months.

The track between Derry and Coleraine is closed for major engineering works and will not reopen until April 2013.

A replacement bus service is in place for those using that part of the line.

The closure will affect passengers travelling to the city for the first three months of Derry's 2013 UK City of Culture celebrations.
