Public meeting in Gweedore on Monday over AIB closure

A public meeting is being held in west Donegal on Monday evening to discuss the decision by AIB to close its branch in Gweedore.
Businesses in the area have been angered by the decision which means money must now be lodged locally at the post office in Dungloe ,with claims its inconvenient and presents security issues.
AIB confirmed yesterday its intention to close 8 Donegal branches before the middle of next year.
Eamon McBride of the Gweedore Chamber of Commerce wants locals to turnout at Monday’s meeting in the offices of Udarus Na Gaeltachta at 7 o’clock:
