Buncrana Town Council has confirmed that the first half hour of parking in the town will be free.
The pilot scheme will run between Monday the 16th of July and the 3rd of December in a bid to stimulate the local economy.
Cllr Ciaran McLaughlin, who raised the issue in Junes council meeting has welcomed the move.
He believes it will bring more business to the town:
