Two Donegal trainees stranded in Florida as pilot courses are halted

It has emerged that 2 of the 80 of trainee pilots left stranded at Florida Institute of Technology when their course was halted are from Donegal.
The trainees – who each paid around 85-thousand euro in fees to The Pilot Training College in Waterford, were grounded last week because of a contractual dispute between the two colleges.
The Waterford college says the trainees may lose their fees because the college was not bonded.
Deputy Padraig MacLoughlain is in contact with the families of both Donegal pilots.
He says the government must intervene particularly after it emerged the company in waterford received a 440-thousand euro investment from Enterprise Ireland in 2010:
