It’s emerged that details of the new North South political forum will be confirmed in two days time.
Donegal North East Deputy Joe McHugh has been part of the working group in the republic which has been engaged in the establishment of the new forum.
Deputy Mc Hugh, Chair of the Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement, says the forum will be a historic development in North-South relations, and will see politicians from both sides of the border working together to a greater degree than ever before.
The forum was referenced in a speech by the North’s Deputy First Minister at the weekend, and Deputy Mc Hugh says the formal announcement will be made on Wednesday………..
